Traveling Superintendent

Location: Project-based throughout the United States

Compensation: $90,000 - $130,000 base salary, depending on experience and demonstrated success

Travel: Extensive travel and temporary/permanent relocation required Robert E. Lamb, Inc. is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to oversee construction projects across the United States. This role is ideal for an experienced construction professional who enjoys being in the field, building relationships, solving problems, and seeing projects through to completion. Projects may range from several weeks to multiple years in duration. The ideal candidate is comfortable relocating to project sites for extended periods and values stability, teamwork, and long-term career growth. Lamb provides housing accommodations at project locations, along with a food per diem, allowing employees to focus on successfully delivering projects while working on some of the nation's most impactful construction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: Provide on-site supervision and coordination of construction activities Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders Monitor project schedules, quality, safety, and jobsite progress Participate in construction meetings and proactively resolve field issues Coordinate with project teams to ensure successful execution and completion of projects Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and daily logs Support punch list, closeout, and turnover activities Foster positive working relationships with clients, contractors, and team members Represent Robert E. Lamb professionally on every project site

What We're Looking For: Commercial construction industry experience required; prior superintendent experience is helpful but not required Ability to confidently interact with clients, contractors, and project teams Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills History of completing projects and demonstrated employment stability Willingness to travel and relocate for the duration of assigned projects Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background checkU.S. CitizenOSHA 30 certification preferred but not required
