Pediatric Dental Assistant

Responsibilities: Prepare and organize dental treatment rooms and instruments prior to patient appointments. Assist dentists during various dental procedures by handing instruments, suctioning, and ensuring patient comfort. Perform sterilization and disinfection of dental tools and equipment following strict infection control protocols. Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix, including updating medical histories and treatment plans. Educate patients and their guardians on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care with empathy and clear communication. Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow to minimize wait times. Monitor and maintain inventory of dental supplies and materials, ensuring availability for daily operations. Adhere to body motion and ergonomics best practices to maintain personal health and safety during clinical tasks.

Qualifications: Willingness to learn and grow in the dental field Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced team orientated environment High School Diploma or equivalent required Registered Dental Assistant with two years of experience preferred Previous dental experience would be helpful, but a great attitude and a strong work ethic are our first priorities. Pay Range: $20 - $24
