About the Role: We are looking for a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of diesel technicians responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy-duty trucks and equipment. This role oversees shop operations, ensures safety and compliance standards are met, and helps keep the fleet running efficiently.
Responsibilities: Supervise and support diesel technicians and lead technicians. Schedule and prioritize maintenance and repair work. Conduct shop meetings, inspections, and quality checks. Ensure repairs are completed safely and in compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company standards. Assist with hiring, training, coaching, and performance management. Manage inventory, parts, and shop expenses. Troubleshoot complex vehicle and equipment repairs when needed. Maintain maintenance records, payroll, and department reports. Monitor shop productivity and recommend improvements.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED.3+ years of heavy equipment, fleet, or diesel maintenance experience.1+ year of supervisory, lead technician, or management experience. Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and safety regulations. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
