Working under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will provide hands-on treatment to help residents regain independence, improve daily living skills, and achieve the highest possible quality of life. What You'll Do: Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Assist residents in improving their ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, bathing, grooming, and self-care. Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve strength, coordination, balance, mobility, and functional independence. Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist. Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation. Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Participate in Resident Care Conferences and rehabilitation meetings as needed. Assist with training Restorative Aides and supporting restorative nursing programs. Educate residents and families on adaptive techniques, safety, and strategies to promote independence. Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment while following infection control and equipment safety procedures.
