About the Process Engineer Internship: Gain hands-on experience supporting manufacturing operations through root cause analysis, data collection and statistical analysis, and Lean continuous improvement initiatives. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to solve real-world engineering challenges and drive operational excellence. Program structure:
Schedule:
Part-time (15-20 hours/week) during the academic year and full-time (40 hours/week) during the summer.
Location: Saukville, WI
Start Date: May 2027
Duration: Year-round internship
What we're looking for:
Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or a related field with current status of at least a Sophomore standing. Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher. Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and Power Point. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. Ability to succeed in a team environment. Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Preferred experience:
Basic Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma Skills Experience working in a manufacturing environment. What you'll focus on: Work in the draw departments to improve production efficiency, product quality, and assist in the implementation of standards. Performing time studies, working with operators on how to improve the process, and identifying root causes of production issues.
