Manufacturing Assembler

Job Title: Assembler ILocation: Pomona, CA

Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Pay Rate: $20.00/hrRole Overview

Key Responsibilities: Perform assembly, filling, prep, and packaging operations for reagents in strict compliance with approved documentation, batch records, and Quality System Regulations (QSR).Set up equipment, perform routine line clearances, and complete required housekeeping and 5S activities. Assemble, inspect, repair, and test products according to detailed written work instructions and standard operating procedures. Complete physical documentation and paper batch records accurately and in real time. Assist engineering and maintenance teams with minor routine equipment troubleshooting, cleaning, and preventive maintenance. Safely handle and dispose of waste materials in designated areas following site safety protocols. Support quality investigations, root cause analysis, and process improvement initiatives alongside QC and engineering teams. Ensure all activities meet relevant regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO, OSHA).

Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required.2–5 years of hands-on assembly, filling, or packaging experience; background in pharmaceutical, medical device, reagent, or food manufacturing is strongly preferred. Ability to read and follow written work orders and standard operating procedures accurately (blueprint reading not required).Basic computer literacy (basic Excel); comfort with paper-based documentation.
