Meat Clerk | Part-Time | Thursday, Friday & Saturday

Key Responsibilities: Provide friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service Package, weigh, label, price, and stock fresh meat products Maintain clean, organized, attractive, and well-stocked display cases Rotate inventory using FIFO practices Monitor product quality, freshness, and appearance Assist with basic meat preparation tasks as trained and permitted Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company procedures Clean equipment, preparation areas, counters, scales, display cases, and other work surfaces Assist with receiving, organizing, and stocking deliveries Complete assigned opening and closing responsibilities Support meat cutters, coworkers, and department leadership as needed Help maintain an efficient and organized work area throughout the day

Qualifications: Must be at least 16 years of age Must be available to work Saturdays Ability to work the scheduled shift through closing when assigned Customer service experience preferred Grocery, food service, retail, or meat department experience helpful but not required Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures Strong attention to detail and organization Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Comfortable working in a fast-paced customer service environment Willingness to learn basic meat department skills and procedures Schedule Thursday: 9 am - 3 pm Friday: 9 am - 5 pm Saturday: 10 am - 6 pm

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods Frequent lifting of up to 40 lbs. Occasional lifting of up to 60 lbs. Ability to work comfortably in refrigerated and cooler environments Ability to safely perform assigned food preparation and department tasks using approved equipment, with training provided
