Staff Attorney Juvenile Dependency & Family Defense Advocate

Dependency Advocacy Center (DAC), a nonprofit serving indigent parents and children in Santa Clara County’s juvenile dependency system, seeks a staff attorney to handle a full caseload with extensive in-person court appearances. You will interview clients, assess case merits, confer with social workers and opposing counsel, and present cases at hearings and mediations, working within an interdisciplinary team. Strong courtroom advocacy and compassion are essential.
