To support the firm's busy seasons, the part-time Seasonal Audit Senior Associate will manage financial statement audits, communicate with clients about engagement expectations, and train junior staff while working both onsite and remotely.
Key responsibilities: Planning, executing, and completing financial statement audits while managing budgets and performing in-charge roles as needed Communicating with clients about engagement expectations and informing them of relevant accounting and regulatory developments Training and supervising audit associates and interns, providing constructive feedback to enhance team performance
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, finance, mathematics, or related disciplines Minimum of two years of progressive public accounting experience with in-charge auditing Meeting education requirements for CPA certification in the applicable state Proficiency in US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB rules and standards Experience with automation and digitization tools in audits or professional services
