Quality Control Specialist, Intermediate

Key Responsibilities: Provide the highest level of customer service to clients, vendors, and service providers in acquiring the proper import documentation. Review Certificates of Origin and other documentation to confirm eligibility to Free Trade programs. Analyze and update PGA records in entries and database with knowledge of PGA reporting requirements. Audit assigned files to ensure accuracy and instructions are followed. Work with operations department in maintaining of client database. Assist team leader in training of team members as assigned. Service clients and reporting of any issues to Team Leader/Supervisor. Ensures all shipments are entered in accordance with the US Federal Code of Regulations. Support as required in all Departmental Operations. Other responsibilities as assigned. Minimum 2 years of experience in US Customs brokerage. Minimum 1 year of experience in quality control. Basic knowledge of HTS classification. Intermediate MS Office knowledge. Physical DemandsOccasionally bend, squat, kneel, reach above shoulder, and frequently sit, handle objects (manual dexterity), use fine finger movement. Occasionally must carry/lift loads of up to 15 lbs. Work EnvironmentFrequently read/comprehend, write, perform calculations, communicate orally, reason and analyze.
