Account Manager

Role Overview: Warehouse Now is looking for an Account Manager to own and grow relationships with our carrier and freight brokerage customers. In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for assigned accounts, managing day-to-day service requests while building strong customer relationships and identifying opportunities to expand account usage. You will work closely with customers, our warehouse network, and internal operations teams to coordinate fast, effective solutions for time-sensitive freight needs. This role is ideal for someone who understands the fast pace of transportation and logistics, communicates confidently with customers, and can balance operational execution with account growth.

Key Responsibilities: Manage Customer Accounts: Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned carrier and freight brokerage accounts, developing strong relationships and becoming a trusted resource for their warehousing and freight recovery needs. Coordinate Service Requests: Manage incoming requests for services such as cross-docks, pallet reworks, mobile lumping, storage, freight disposal, and redelivery, ensuring customer requirements are understood and executed accurately. Drive Account Growth: Proactively identify opportunities to increase Warehouse Now utilization within existing accounts, expand relationships across teams and locations, and generate repeat business. Oversee Service Execution: Partner closely with internal operations teams and warehouse facilities to coordinate service details, maintain communication, and ensure requests are completed successfully. Resolve Issues Quickly: Take ownership of customer challenges and operational issues, communicating proactively and working toward fast, practical resolutions. Monitor Account Health: Track account activity, service usage, customer feedback, and relationship health to identify opportunities, address concerns, and support long-term retention. Maintain Strong Communication: Keep customers informed throughout the service process and provide a consistently responsive, high-quality experience.

What We're Looking For: Open to candidates at all experience levels, including recent college graduates. Experience in account management, customer success, operations, freight brokerage, 3PL, transportation, or warehousing is a plus, but not required. Working knowledge of transportation and logistics workflows, terminology, and common operational challenges such as rejected freight, shifted loads, overweight loads, reworks, and cross-docks. Experience managing customer relationships while supporting account growth, retention, or upsell initiatives. Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively with dispatchers, logistics managers, operations teams, and decision-makers. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain organized and responsive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to manage multiple customer needs and priorities simultaneously.
