Fabricator Welder

Position Summary: Certified Boom Repair Service is looking for a skilled Fabricator/Welder to support a variety of fabrication projects. You will work on a variety of jobs using fabrication skills and welding techniques including MIG and stick. A great Fabricator needs to possess manual dexterity, an eye for detail, and proficiency across welding methods. They must have knowledge of mathematics as it pertains to precision fabrication and respect for safety precautions.

Key Responsibilities: Fabrication is significant part of responsibilities including precision measurements, cutting, grinding, fitting Welding on various material using MIG and stick techniques (will certify to appropriate AWS standards)Will be required to work in various shop temperature conditions Will be required to work in confined spaces when necessary Occasional mobile service work upon completion of certifications Must be team oriented and have proven history of consistent on-time performance

Qualifications and Skills: High school diploma or GED (Preferred)Basic welding tools and protective equipment (Required)Previous MIG 6G welding certification (Preferred but will recertify)Must be able to pass criminal background check and

MVR Physical Requirements: Physically able to lift a minimum of 85lbs Work outside in all weather conditions Must have current driver’s license and clean driving record Forklift/Crane experience a plus Detail-oriented with experience with measurement tools for welders. Tools Used Welders, (MIG, STICK)Hydraulic Press, Grinder, Pry bars, drills, saw, precision measurement tools. Pneumatic tools, wrenches, impact wrenches, hand tools, hammers. Fabricating Jigs/Fixtures/Templates to match part/drawing with precision.\nCompany
