Remote Epidemiology & Data Science Intern

The American Heart Association is seeking a part-time Epidemiology Intern to support the Annual Heart Disease and Stroke Statistical Update. This role offers hands-on experience with national surveillance datasets, epidemiologic analyses, and reproducible public health research in a nonprofit setting. You will work 20–25 hours per week remotely, gaining skills in data extraction, reporting, and SOP development while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
