Position Overview: As the Director of Graduate Medical Education, you will spearhead the strategic planning and execution of GME programs across multiple hospitals. Your responsibilities will include managing a centralized GME office, overseeing residency and fellowship applications, and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards. Collaborate with medical school partners and health system leaders to foster a cohesive educational environment.
Position Highlights: Lead the growth and strategic planning for GME programs. Oversee residency and fellowship applications and site visits. Manage a dedicated GME team and office operations. Implement and monitor GME policies, ensuring compliance. Act as a liaison with the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).Support faculty development and GME assessment practices. Develop and manage budgets for the GME office. Support the Graduate Medical Education Committee (GMEC).Promote well-being and professional development for residents and faculty.
