BE SAFTEY MINDEDHigh School Diploma or GEDBe able to read and interpret written work instructions, which are left by the Head Custodian or Principal/Building ManagerBe able to work under the direction of supervisor (Head Custodian) and be able to work with other District PersonnelAbility to perform all job-related functionsMust have reliable transportationAbility to maintain adequate attendancePHYSICAL DEMANDS Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sweep rooms, halls, entrances and sidewalksDust and move furnitureWet mop and operate scrubbing/buffing machinesVacuum and shampoo carpetingWash windows inside and outWash furniture, chalkboards, walls and lighting fixturesClean restrooms, fixtures, walls and floorsReplace light bulbsRemove snow from sidewalks and apply de-icerPerform general yard maintenance Perform other job related duties as assigned
