Support mechanical electricians with PLC‑related issues Track down inputs/outputs and diagnose faults in packaging equipment Assist in implementing automation upgrades Provide reactive (30‑40 %) and preventative maintenance support Work with VFDs, motor compactors, and other high‑voltage equipment (480 V, 3‑phase) Understand and follow safety protocols for high‑voltage systems Collaborate with engineering teams (Plant and Process Engineers) Support networking between multiple PLC platforms

Strong troubleshooting skills with AllenBradley PLCs (Studio5000) Experience with SiemensDCS systems is a plus Background in packaging equipment, especially liquid packaging, is highly desirable Familiarity with VFDs and drive systems Mechatronics or automation training is a plus Certifications and formal education in electrical or automation fields are beneficial Positive attitude and willingness to learn and support the team EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
