Safety & Quality Control Manager

Certifications include: OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR (required), OSHA 500 (will train), OSHA 510 (will train).

Duties: Develop, implement and enforce company safety policies, programs and procedures. Schedule, conduct and track safety and task training. Oversee third-party safety partners, ensuring audits are performed accurately, consistently and in compliance with company and regulatory standards. Conduct safety meetings. Work with NC OSH Consultative Services Program. Collaborate with project teams to establish and maintain quality control standards. Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications, codes and safety requirements. Participate in preconstruction planning and constructability reviews, paying close attention to identifying potential safety and quality risks. Work with project teams to develop Site-Specific Safety Plans. Work with project teams to develop and implement Subcontractor Project Safety & Incident Prevention Program. Advise Executive Leadership Team, project teams, and trade partners in the areas of safety and quality assurance. Promote a proactive safety culture by fostering open communication and accountability. Ability to travel from home office in Zebulon, NC to jobsites on a weekly basis

Qualifications: Minimum of five years of related experience in commercial construction First-Aid/CPAOSHA 30OSHA 500 (preferred, will train)OSHA 510 (preferred, will train)ICRA (preferred, will train)Valid NC Drivers License

Education: High school degree or an equivalent combination of training and work experience

Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office or related software Procore (preferred)

Technical Skills: Working knowledge of federal OSHA regulations and NC Department of Labor OSH standards Thorough understanding of commercial construction processes and sequencing Understanding of trades and trade coordination Ability to perform work in a timely, efficient and professional manner Ability to work within Muter Construction policies and adhere to safety policies set forth by company standards, local and federal regulations
