ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN- 2ND SHIFT

Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair CNC machines and other electronic/mechanical systemsUse tools such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, ammeters, VOMs, chart recorders, and signal generatorsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer manualsCalibrate, align, and maintain machinery to meet operational standardsMaintain accurate repair and calibration records via computerDiagnose and repair A/C, heating, and ventilation systemsWork on hydraulic, pneumatic, and bearing systemsOperate tool room equipment to machine replacement partsScrape machine ways to original tolerances when requiredPerform repairs safely, especially when working with high-voltage equipmentWork independently with minimal supervision Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum 200 hours of formal electronics training OR 3+ years of hands-on experience in electronics/instrumentationProficient in reading mechanical and electrical schematicsWorking knowledge of electronic components, including solid-state devices (transistors, diodes, SCRs) Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systemsFamiliarity with bearings and lubricants used in industrial machineryBasic computer skills for documentation and reportingAbility to machine small parts using tool room equipment is a plusMust comply with all electrical safety protocols Skills Required: Electrical and mechanical troubleshootingUse of diagnostic instruments and hand toolsHVAC repair related to industrial machineryIndependent problem-solvingAttention to safety and detail Physical Demands: Frequent standing, walking, and manual tasksLifting and moving up to 40lbsOccasional reaching, kneeling, crouching, and climbingExposure to hot/cold environments, vibration, and mechanical hazards Work Environment: Industrial CNC machine shop settingExposure to moving machinery, electrical equipment, airborne particles, fumes, and caustic chemicalsMust adhere to strict safety standards and use appropriate PPE Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $31.00 per hour Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offReferral programRetirement planTuition reimbursementVision insurance Schedule:10 hour shiftEvening shift Ability to Commute: Avon, MN 56310 (Required)
