Day-to-Day:
Responsibilities / Workload This position will: Develop and implement regulatory strategies for critical and complex projects, programs, and issues. Support these efforts by understanding the strategic and tactical impacts of regulatory decisions. Effectively advocate Client's positions to various audiences both internally and externally. Partner with stakeholders such as Law and Finance. Effectively communicate and collaborate with Client subject matter experts, witnesses, executive steering teams, and external parties. Advise leadership on financial, business, and operational regulatory risks and considerations. Collaborate closely with partner organizations to ensure financial data within Client's GRC is accurate, timely, and consistent between GRCs and other regulatory filings throughout: Application phases Discovery phases Rebuttal phases Hearing phases Influence and lead cross-functional teams. Collaborate with employees at all levels and across multiple functional areas. Engage with key external stakeholders. Required Skills / Attributes Possesses knowledge and regulatory acumen necessary to communicate and resolve issues amongst internal Finance, Regulatory, and Legal stakeholders. Has regulatory case management skillsets and possesses 3 or more years of experience supporting testimony development for the General Rate Case (GRC) or other equivalent regulatory proceedings. Experience coordinating with other project teams to ensure adequate functionality, data availability, and schedules (risk-informed planning functions and GRC).Experience reviewing historical, pending, and new business processes to identify potential impacts on utility operations, including recommendations to address operational impacts. Experience identifying, managing, leading, and supporting ad-hoc short-term projects as requested by management. Ability to follow Edison safety protocols and safe work practices. Education Requirement Bachelor's or Graduate degree in: Science Engineering Economics Law Finance Communications Public Policy Minimum Years of Experience 10 Years Desired Skills / Attributes Proficiency with the Following Software Tools: Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Microsoft Power Point Microsoft Project
