Overview
Note: This is a hybrid role requiring three (3) days onsite per week at one of our office locations: Allentown, PA; Louisville, KY or Providence, RI. #LI-Hybrid #INDPPL
Responsibilities
Essential Functions: Coach, mentor, andfacilitatetheteammemberstoadopt Lean-Agilemindset, includingownership, self-managementandempowerment ServesasamentortoRTEs and Scrum MastersprovidingguidanceonAgile, and Coachesproductleadersandproductteamsonhowtobestdeliver value, through toolsandkeyactivitiessuchasconducting Agileceremonies, Epic / Feature / Story workshop, writing acceptance criteria, team capacity/velocity, metrics, team agreements, definition of done and definition of ready, DevOps, Testing and Release management Provideshandsondeliveryof ScrumCeremoniesandAgileprinciplestoenableteamstoseefirsthandhowtoexecuteproperlyandeffectively. Runs and helps developPPL specific Agile training, ranging from"lunch-and-learns"to refresher classes and learning videos. Is licensedand experienced conductingSAFeCertification classesfor Leaders, Teams, Scrum Masters, and Product Managers / Owners. Implementsactionablecoachingplan s, and guides RTEs and team coaches in creating and implementing their own coaching plans, basedonkeyactivitiesthataimtoproduceproductlevelsuccess Help s providesolutionstoproductteamissues, which may or may not be specific to Agile Helps lead Agile ceremoniesand value deliverywithing the Lean Agile COE agile team Champions adoption of agile mindsetwith coworkers throughout PPL, including business and Senior / Executive Leaders, under the guidance of theleadership and key stakeholders. Conductsteam/departmentassessments(AgileReadiness, ReleaseRetrospectiveand AIM maturity)andrecommendsAgilecertificationstopursue Conductsteam/departmentassessments(AgileReadiness, ReleaseRetrospectiveand AIM maturity)andrecommendsAgilecertificationstopursue ParticipatesinthecontinuousimprovementofPPL’ s Agile practice, including reference material, process refinements, tooling, and AgileCOP’s Facilitatesscrumofscrumandcommunitiesofpracticewith ScrumMastersandpossiblyothers Promotes Agilelearningacrossorganizationusingtechnology, i.e. Planview, ADO, Miro Workscollaborativelywithdifferentpartsoftheorganizationassistingwithmitigationplanningthatareimpactingproductteamstoaddressrisks&issues Basedonthe Agileadoptionacrosstheorganization, AgileCoach mayhave Release Train Engineer responsibilitiesinmanagingproductteamsbasedondemandforcoachingandimplementationofassessmentmaturityresults Maybeassignedan Electric Utilitiesemergencyandstormrole. Thisisaspecialassignmentthatcomesintoplayduringstormsandotheremergencieswhenthecompanyneedstorestorepowerorrespondtootherissuesaffectingcustomerservice. Thisrolemaynecessitatetheneedtoworkafter-hours, outsideofyournormalschedule. Thecompanyreservestherighttodetermineifthispositionwillbeassignedtoworkon-site, remotely, oracombinationofboth. Qualifications
Required Education: Bachelor's degree OR additional four years of IT value delivery experience.
Required Experience: 7+ years of related work experience. 10+ years IT value delivery experience, including SAFe / Agile, Lean, Product leadership, etc. Licenses / Certifications / Other QualificationsSAFeProgram Consultant (SPC)with endorsements Enables teaching basicSAFeCourses, with all required endorsements to runSAFeCourses. Sixmonths Required. ASPC (AdvancedSAFePractice Consultant)with endorsements Enables teaching advancedSAFeCourses, with all required endorsements to runSAFeCourses. Sixmonths Required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience using SAFe in highly regulated environments, ideally utilities.
