Key responsibilities:
Produce research, white papers, and policy briefs on food systems and agriculture topics
Fact-check and copyedit policy products while managing administrative functions
Support programming and public events, fostering relationships with stakeholders and partners
Required qualifications:
Advanced degree (master's) in food policy, agriculture, environmental law, public policy, or related field preferred
Five years of experience in food systems regulation, agricultural policy, or rural economic development
Familiarity with federal and state agriculture programs and USDA policy preferred
Demonstrated maturity, creativity, and initiative
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and perform complex tasks
