Discover Your Role:
At QPWB, our Workers’ Compensation Practice Group is composed of seasoned attorneys dedicated to assisting a diverse range of clients, including employers, carriers, third-party administrators, and self-insureds, in the defense of workers’ compensation actions. From initial claims handling through mediation, arbitration, trial, and appeal, we provide comprehensive legal representation tailored to the unique needs of each client.
Responsibilities:
Reviewing and preparing summaries of medical records to effectively advocate for clients. Drafting motions and attending hearings to represent clients in court. Preparing clients for depositions and attending depositions as needed. Drafting initial reports, interim reports, pre-trial reports, trials, and appellate activity. Responding to discovery requests and drafting discovery-related motions. Regularly attending court appearances to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients. Taking and defending depositions of fact witnesses and expert witnesses.

What You’ll Bring:
To excel in this role, you must meet the following requirements: Admitted to practice in the State of Missouri, Wisconsin, and or Illinois. Possess analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex legal issues effectively. Demonstrate excellent research abilities and strong written and oral communication skills. Draft and respond to discovery-related motions. Regularly attend court appearances. Take and defend depositions of fact witnesses and expert witnesses. Draft motions for summary judgments.
