What you'll do? Uses a hammer and/or saw to correct quality issues in the assembly pallets. Lifts pallet to examine pallet, removes defective boards, and corrects nail related issues. Understands pallet specifications and modifications necessary for customers. Responsible for troubleshooting jams, and basic maintenance of quality control station.
Hours: 1st ShiftMonday - Friday5:30 am - 3:30 pmWeekend overtime as needed.
Duties Include:
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced/high-volume environment
  • Attention to detail & commitment to quality
  • Inspect pallets visually for defects including, but not limited to, broken boards and blocks, missing components, nail defects, debris and contamination. Corrects defects that do not meet specification criteria.
  • Removes damaged boards with a pry bar/hammer.
  • Cleans area during and at end of shift.
  • May be required to work frequent overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • SkillsMust be 18+ years old
  • Basic tool knowledge is a plus
  • Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and flipping of 75-to-85-pound pallets.
