Job Description: RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead team to perform electrical testing using test equipment, including HIPOT testing between circuit parts to ensure safety and quality of all electrical circuits. Must be able to train team members to wire assembled components on a control panel from schematics and / or wiring diagrams; must be able to troubleshoot and repair control panels. Develop and follow established work instructions for inspection and testing and generate / compile job documentation for all products before shipment. Create new testing procedures for new equipment and designs. Support integration efforts of the control test team outputs into MES. Lead, coordinate, and monitor the activities of assigned team members. Set goals and work culture and ensure clear communication and understanding. Enforce and model all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and take corrective actions when needed. Coordinate with teams to develop better workflows. Promote a culture of continuous improvement. Identify training needs, help coach, and mentor team members. Support professional growth through performance feedback. Resolve day-to-day issues quickly and professionally. Maintain accurate records of attendance, production, safety incidents, and team performance. Promote a respectful, inclusive, and motivated work environment. Recognize team achievements and encourage cooperation. COMPETENCIES/REQUIREDSKILLS: Experience training, supervising, or managing employees in a professional manner. At least three (3) years of hands-on working experience in high voltage electrical testing and proficient in the use of test equipment / tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters and weld scopes Comprehensive knowledge of testing electrical panels for commercial use, electronic circuits, and electrical components Able to read wiring and electrical diagrams Ability to troubleshoot / test a variety of electro-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies Experienced in safety and high voltage procedures Development of electrical testing procedures. Prior experience in a leadership role preferred. Proficiency with computer skills, database systems, and adaptability to learning new software programs. Have experience in maintaining work areas according to lean and safety standards. Having a working knowledge of applicable electrical standards such as NEMA, UL, IEC, etc. is a PLUS Occasional lift up to 50 lbs, able to bend, sit, kneel, stoop as required.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Associate’s degree required or five years of related experience, Bachelors degree a plus Prior leadership experience desired.
