Interim Insurance Transformation Director

The Role: Working closely with senior leadership, you will take ownership of the transformation agenda across broking operations, technology, data, automation and client service. This is a strategic role requiring someone who can define the future-state vision, build the business case for change and remain close enough to delivery to ensure transformation translates into measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver a multi-year transformation strategy aligned with commercial objectives. Assess the current broking operating model, processes, technology and organisational capability. Modernise broking platforms, applications and the wider technology landscape. Improve and streamline processes across placement, servicing and operational functions. Identify opportunities for automation, digitisation and AI adoption. Develop a stronger data strategy to improve reporting, insight and decision-making. Establish effective transformation governance, prioritisation and accountability. Build investment cases and ensure programmes deliver measurable business value. Lead multidisciplinary technology, operations and transformation teams. Partner with senior business leaders, brokers and operational stakeholders to drive adoption and change. Manage strategic technology partners and suppliers. Significant experience leading large-scale transformation within insurance broking or the wider commercial insurance market. Strong understanding of insurance broking operations and processes. Proven experience delivering business, operational, technology and data transformation. Experience developing transformation roadmaps and taking complex programmes through execution. Strong understanding of legacy and modern insurance technology environments. Experience improving efficiency through process redesign and automation. Broking platform transformation.
