Head of Production

Responsibilities: Lead, manage and develop a team of Project Managers, setting clear expectations around performance, accountability and project delivery. Provide senior oversight across a portfolio of complex retail environment and design-build projects. Establish and improve processes, workflows and project management standards across the business. Ensure projects are delivered against agreed timelines, budgets, quality standards and client expectations. Work closely with Account Management, Design, Engineering, Estimating and Sourcing teams to improve communication and project handoffs. Oversee relationships with external manufacturing, fabrication and installation partners. Identify project risks early and support Project Managers in resolving operational and commercial challenges. Improve visibility and reporting across project status, capacity, timelines and profitability. Support the continued growth of the business by building a scalable, high-performing Project Management and Production function. Experience We are particularly interested in candidates with experience within one or more of the following: Retail environments Store fixtures and permanent displays Point-of-purchase (POP) displays Retail design and build Experiential environments Branded environments Custom fabrication You should have significant experience managing and developing Project Managers or multidisciplinary project delivery teams. Direct manufacturing experience is not essential. Candidates who have successfully delivered projects through outsourced manufacturing and fabrication partners are highly relevant.

What we're looking for: The successful candidate will be a strong people manager first and foremost. You'll be comfortable developing individuals, setting standards and holding teams accountable, while retaining enough hands-on project knowledge to step into complex situations when required. You'll understand how Design, Engineering, Estimating, Sourcing, Production and Installation need to work together to deliver custom retail projects successfully.
