Job Type: Full-Time (Hospital-Based)
Schedule: Monday - Friday | On-Call Rotation Required (Two Consecutive Weekends per Month)
Additional Compensation: Shift Differential (After 6:00 PM) + On-Call PayPosition Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated EEG / Neuromonitoring Technologist to join our hospital-based team in San Luis Obispo, CA. This position offers the opportunity to work with patients across all age groups while providing high-quality intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring services.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) procedures during surgical cases.
Monitor and interpret neurophysiological data to help protect neural function throughout surgery.
Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and operating room staff.
Ensure accurate patient setup, equipment calibration, and quality signal acquisition.
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of monitoring procedures.
Troubleshoot equipment and technical issues during surgical procedures.
Follow established clinical protocols and patient safety standards.
Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of neuromonitoring/EEG experience.
Strong knowledge of EEG and intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring techniques.
Ability to work independently in a hospital operating room environment.
Patient Population: Infants, Pediatrics, Adults
