Emergency Medical Technician

Job Description: Conform to all requirements pertaining to full-time status. Be scheduled to work at least forty (40) hours per week. Successfully complete their ninety day (90) days probationary period. The following, by job title, are the requirements, and qualifications for employment: EMTYou Must: 1. Be a high school graduate or have obtained a GED.2. Possess a current PA State EMT certification that is not under suspension 3. Possess a current CPR certification 4. Possess a current unencumbered PA driver’s license.5. Be certified in Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC), curriculum must be approved by the PA Dept. of Health.7. Be able to pass a post employment offer physical examination.9. Have tact and sympathy, as well as a willingness, to assist patients with a variety of illnesses.10. Have the ability to express oneself verbally and in writing.11. Have an appearance and standard of conduct that enhances the position.12. Have 20/20 vision in both eyes or be capable of correction to 20/20 by use of corrective measures.13. Have hearing within a range, which will permit the auscultation of bloodpressures, lung sounds, heart tones and bowel sounds as well as hearing radio communications. \nCompany
