As an Event Host, you'll turn every birthday, group celebration, and special event into an unforgettable, adrenaline-packed adventure that families will remember forever! You'll bring massive energy, infectious enthusiasm, and seamless coordination to every party, making sure guests feel the thrill from the moment they walk in. This role is all about creating magical, high-energy moments where kids and families laugh, play, and make memories that last a lifetime. Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Confirmation & Check-In • Confirm party details with hosts, complete waivers, process payments, and gear up every guest with wristbands and City Socks so the high-energy celebration can begin instantly. Guest Greeting & Communication • Welcome party guests with huge, contagious energy! Explain the event flow and be the friendly, high-spirited main point of contact that keeps the excitement going all day. Event Coordination & Flow • Lead birthday groups to their tables with enthusiasm, guide them through the attractions, and keep the party running on schedule while ensuring every moment is safe, fun, and packed with unforgettable thrills. Food & Supplies Oversight • Coordinate food service, keep tables fully stocked, and oversee delivery and setup so the party stays seamless and the good times keep rolling. Attraction Guidance & Safety • Demonstrate how to slide like pros with high energy, share the rules, and help guests navigate the park safely so everyone can dive into the action and create epic memories. Setup, Cleanup & Guest Satisfaction • Prep event spaces before guests arrive, maintain cleanliness and energy during the party, and handle teardown afterward. Make sure every host family feels completely supported and leaves saying "That was the best party ever!"

Qualifications: Prior guest-facing experience (entertainment, hospitality, retail, or recreation) preferred but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills - able to enforce rules while staying friendly, professional, and full of energy Reliable, responsible, and able to stay sharp and upbeat in a fast-paced environment Comfortable handling basic transactions and using point-of-sale (POS) systems Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays Bilingual skills are a plus and highly valued Core CompetenciesGuest Focus Demonstrates friendly, helpful, and respectful service to all guests. Teamwork Works well with others, supports teammates, and communicates effectively. Accountability Arrives on time, follows policies, and takes responsibility for tasks. Adaptability Stays calm and effective in a fast-paced, changing environment. Safety Awareness Follows rules and procedures to ensure guest and team safety. Communication Clearly explains rules, directions, and information to guests and team members.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and remain active on your feet for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours per shift) Ability to walk, climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach, and stretch while supervising attractions and assisting guests Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs (restocking supplies, moving equipment, party/event setups) Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations, including moving rapidly across attractions Comfortable working in a loud, fast-paced environment with flashing lights and high guest activity Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members in a noisy environment Work ScheduleTeam members may be scheduled for a variety of shifts, including morning, day, evening, or night shifts.
