QA Inspector I

Hours: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch).

Job Responsibilities: • Operate or tend machines to wash or clean items, such as manufactured articles to remove impurities preparatory to further processing.• Review production requirements of other and communicates with other shift workers areas to determine parts needed.• Set controls to regulate the length of cycle and drum speed and starts drums.• Load and unload objects to and from washer and hopper using tow motor.• Visually inspect parts to ensure they are free of oil, water, or soap.• Refill tank at designated intervals with water.• Observe machine operation, gauges, or thermometer and adjust controls to maintain operation, according to specifications.• Examine and inspect machines for malfunctions and product for conformance to processing specifications.• Remove full bin using tow motor.• Clean and maintain work area.• Clean machines.• Be responsible for sorting/inspection of suspect material, processing rework, assisting other product lines, and other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Group Leader.
