Lead Estimator

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Low Voltage Estimator to join our team. This is a professional position focused on budgeting and estimating for commercial low voltage projects—not a technician role. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of low voltage systems and the ability to accurately forecast project costs, labor, and programming requirements.

Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate estimates and budgets for commercial low voltage installation projects Calculate labor and material costs for fiber, copper, riser cables, security cameras, Wi-Fi, and A/V systems Read and interpret low voltage and A/V construction blueprints Create and revise proposals and change orders Forecast project budgets with precision Manage multiple projects simultaneously Communicate professionally with clients and team members Utilize estimating software and Quick Books Professional Services Estimates

Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of commercial low voltage experience Working knowledge of low voltage systems, security cameras, Wi-Fi, and/or A/VProficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word Ability to read low voltage and A/V construction blueprints Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent documentation and communication skills Professional demeanor when interacting with clients Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects Team-oriented with a positive attitude Willingness to learn and adapt

Preferred Skills: Electrical budgeting experience Familiarity with estimating software Experience with Quick Books Professional Services Estimates Background in commercial construction
