Schedule:
7:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Overtime: Occasional overtime may be required based on customer demand. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity! We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our operations team. In this role, you will inspect, clean, and prepare automotive parts for shipment while ensuring products meet established quality and inventory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and prepare automotive parts for shipment, including buffing smaller components, pressure washing drivetrain components, and cleaning body panels with soap and parts for condition, accuracy, and overall quality, comparing products against inventory descriptions and established standards. Identify discrepancies in product condition or inventory information and communicate issues to the appropriate sales or operations personnel by phone or email. Safely package smaller components using protective materials and cardboard boxes. Properly protect and prepare larger parts, including bumpers and doors, for transportation and storage. Organize body panels and smaller components on designated racks for shipment. Assist with loading trailers using a forklift or other approved material-handling equipment. Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred (not required)Previous forklift experience is a plus; training provided. Previous warehouse, automotive, shipping, receiving, or parts-handling experience is helpful but not required. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with email and Microsoft Office handle parts and materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis.
