A Coiling Jumper helps with the Coil Spring process. They start by removing coil springs from the conveyor and placing them into the buffer bin. They remove springs from the bin and place them on to the conveyor during coiling downtime. They also support the coiling operator with coil changes when the time allows.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Use of a fork truck Use of an overhead crane Self sufficiency On feet for extended amount of time Mechanically inclined decision making Working off-shift Paperwork
Qualifications:
Ability to read, write and understand job documentation Physical coordination to lift and move product Trainable with fork lift truck and crane Ability to handle multiple tasks Written and oral communication skills with attention to detail Math ability, including conversions (English & Metric units)Ability to read, use and understand measuring devices Trainable with PLC controls and SPC documentation Ability to understand machine computer functions Ability to load material, perform changeovers, make needed adjustments during production and/or tooling changes
