Vascular Access Nurse Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing At least 1 year of professional Registered Nurse experience Required experience with ultrasound-guided peripheral IV placementPICC line experience preferred but not required Strong patient assessment, communication, organization, and clinical judgment skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a vascular access team Availability to work 12-hour day shifts and every other weekend Vascular Access RN Responsibilities Assess patients and determine the most appropriate vascular access approach Perform ultrasound-guided peripheral IV insertions safely and efficiently Assist with vascular access procedures and provide skilled IV therapy support Monitor insertion sites, assess for complications, and intervene according to clinical standards Educate patients and families about vascular access care and safety Accurately document assessments, procedures, patient responses, and follow-up care Collaborate with nurses, providers, and other members of the care team to support high-quality patient outcomes Apply now for this Boston, Massachusetts Travel Registered Nurse opportunity and join a dedicated Vascular Access Team.
