Role Description: This is a part-time remote role for an Account Manager. The Account Manager will oversee a portfolio of customer accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for inquiries, service updates, and issue resolution. Daily responsibilities include responding to customer communications, monitoring account performance, preparing reports, and coordinating with internal teams to address service needs. The role involves identifying opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction, supporting contract and billing processes, and maintaining accurate account records in CRM or similar systems. The Account Manager will also contribute to continuous improvement by sharing customer feedback and collaborating on process enhancements.
Qualifications: Experience in account management, customer success, or client services, with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships. Skills in communication and negotiation, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to manage expectations and resolve issues. Competence in organization and time management, with the ability to handle multiple accounts, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote setting. Comfort with digital tools and data, including CRM or account management systems, basic reporting, and use of collaboration platforms. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret account information and propose practical solutions. Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Previous experience in utilities, water services, or related industries is beneficial but not required. Relevant education in business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
