Job Description: Orange County Foot & Ankle Institute is seeking a dependable and professional Bilingual Medical Assistant (English/Spanish) to join our podiatry practice in Santa Ana, California.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and assist with check-in and rooming
  • Take and document vital signs
  • Update patient medical information and records
  • Prepare examination and treatment rooms
  • Assist the physician during patient visits and procedures
  • Schedule appointments and respond to patient calls
  • Assist with insurance verification, referrals, and authorizations
  • Communicate clearly with patients in both English and Spanish
  • Maintain cleanliness and follow infection-control procedures
  • Support front-office and back-office duties as needed
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
Qualifications:
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required
  • Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred
  • Strong communication and patient service skills
  • Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable using electronic medical records and office software
  • Ability to multitask in a busy medical office environment
  • Professional attitude and ability to work well with a healthcare team
