Legal Assistant / Front Desk Coordinator — Law Office of Megha K. Patel, LLCNorth Brunswick, NJ | Full-Time, In-Office We're a boutique, flat-fee transactional law firm — real estate closings, business law, and estate planning — and we're looking for the person who runs point on our front office. If you've ever worked somewhere and become the person everyone relies on to actually know where things stand, this is that role. What a normal week looks like: You're the first voice or face a client encounters — phone, email, walk-ins — and you set the tone for how the whole relationship feels You manage intake and scheduling for closings, consultations, and deadlines across multiple active matters at once You keep client files organized and moving, and you flag what's falling behind before anyone has to ask You support the attorney and paralegal with document prep and coordination so nothing slips between hand-offs You represent the firm's voice in every piece of correspondence — professional, warm, never robotic What we need from you: Legal assistant, paralegal support, or office coordinator experience — law firm background strongly preferred You can juggle multiple deadlines without dropping any of them, without being told how to prioritize Your writing is clean and your phone manner is warm but efficient You've used practice management or office software before (we'll train you on ours)Why this firm: We're small on purpose.
