Responsibilities:
- Conducting factual investigations and discovery
- Preparing pleadings, taking depositions, arguing motions, participating in mediation
- The ability to successfully develop and maintain strong relationships with the firm’s existing client base
- Experience in court proceedings
- Candidate requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Insurance Coverage experience
- Experience in drafting coverage opinions and in litigating insurance coverage and bad faith cases desiredExperience with insurance defense desiredExperience defending construction and premises liability matters desired
- Strong experience across investigations and discovery, pleadings, depositions, arguing motions and client communication
- Excellent academic credentials
- The ability to effectively handle multiple projects and articulate legal strategies
- Proactive, dynamic, and entrepreneurial
- Billable hours requirement is 1,950 hours per year
Certifications:
- Candidate must be admitted and able to practice in the state they reside
