Field Applications Engineer (FAE)

Responsibilities: Engineering resource on the sales team to lead technical aspects of the sales cycle; discovery, design, prototyping, and production Providing technical marketing support for the development anddesign-inof Commercial Products, including internal/externalpower, memory, storage, and internal IO Prepare and participate in technical presentations Including 3d-CAD modeling and manipulation Develop customer-facing material that is application specific Provide customer supportforall technical inquiries; provide product solutionsto address customer concerns Help devise strategiesto differentiate our products and solutions from our competitors Meet and exceed strategic objectives Some travel will be required Education/ ExperienceBachelor's Degreein an Engineering discipline or other technical equivalent Electrical or Mechanical Engineering 5+ years of experiencein customer-facing Design or Applications Engineering ofelectrical hardware components/interconnect solutions industry Experienceproviding product marketingand technical support to produce design wins Strong preference for experience with Power interconnect and Power architecture applications SkillsProficient in communicatingacross organizational hierarchies High level of customer service, ability to build rapport with customers Self-motivated, assertive nature Proficient use of modelingtools such asCreoor SolidWorks Strongorganizationalandpresentation skills Microsoft Office365 #LI-PG3 Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is a world leader in interconnect solutions for Communications, Mobile, RF, Optics, and Commercial electronics markets.
