We're working with a growing moving and relocation company looking to hire a Moving Warehouse Manager in Chicago, IL. The role will involve overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, managing the handling and storage of household goods, and making sure warehouse activity is organised and controlled. Our client is particularly interested in Moving Warehouse Manager candidates with: Previous warehouse management or supervisory experience within the moving and relocation industry. Good knowledge of household goods handling, storage and warehouse operations. Experience managing warehouse teams and organising daily workloads. Strong organisational skills and attention to inventory control. Clear communication skills when working with warehouse staff, moving crews and operations teams. No two days are ever the same, but your Moving Warehouse Manager responsibilities will include: Managing daily warehouse operations for household goods and moving shipments. Overseeing the receiving, storage and release of customer goods. Managing warehouse staff and allocating work throughout the day. Coordinating loading and unloading activity for moving crews and vehicles. Maintaining accurate inventory and storage records.
