This role supports attorneys in all aspects of family law matters. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and summarizing documents, preparing discovery responses, assisting with preparation for hearings, mediations, and trials, and maintaining calendars and deadlines. Additional responsibilities include communicating with clients, courts, and opposing counsel, and ensuring accurate and timely filing of documents. The position requires on-site presence (with an option for some remote work) to collaborate with attorneys and provide direct support to the firm’s operations.
Qualifications:
Background in family law and general law concepts, with preferred two years' experience supporting litigation or domestic relations matters.
Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, attorneys, court personnel, and opposing counsel in a professional manner.
High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
Comfort with legal practice management software, Microsoft Office, and electronic filing systems; ability to learn new tools as needed.
Salary Range $65,000 - $80,000 commensurate with experience
