Key responsibilities:
Guide research teams to close knowledge gaps and improve AI model performance in specialty legal sub-domains
Create, edit, and maintain high-quality annotation guidelines for legal content to ensure accuracy and clarity
Evaluate and grade the quality of annotations produced by vendors, providing feedback for optimization
Required qualifications:
Ph.D. or equivalent in a law-related field with valid Bar Licensure
Over 10 years of experience in teaching law, working in a law firm, or serving as in-house counsel
5+ years of experience teaching or mentoring advanced legal concepts
Extensive subject matter expertise in recognized areas of US or international legal practice
Strong analytical abilities to evaluate annotation quality and provide actionable feedback
