Key responsibilities:
Conduct thorough reviews of carbon project proposals following a set template
Collaborate with senior scientists to ensure quality assurance and quality control of reports
Manage deliverable-based payment schedules based on the complexity of assigned reviews
Required qualifications:
Advanced graduate student status (Masters or PhD) in climate science fields such as forestry, engineering, chemistry, environmental science, or ecology
Demonstrated interest in carbon project evaluation and climate-related research
Ability to produce concise reports that meet established quality criteria
Familiarity with carbon dioxide removal and reduction technologies
Experience with rigorous QA/QC processes is a plus
