Float Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

About the Position: The Float NP/PA will work across Covenant Care locations based on patient demand, provider PTO, and other staffing needs. This is an important role within the practice, helping maintain patient access and continuity of care while working alongside an experienced team of physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff. This position is well suited for a provider who enjoys variety, is adaptable and dependable, and is comfortable building relationships with patients and teams throughout the practice. Responsibilities: Provide primary care to patients across Covenant Care locations Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions Provide routine preventive and wellness care Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans Maintain timely and accurate medical documentation Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and other members of the care team Provide coverage based on patient demand, provider PTO, and other practice staffing needs

Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program Licensed or eligible for licensure in TennesseeDEA registration or eligibility to obtain Ability to provide primary care across the lifespan Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Comfortable working across multiple Covenant Care locations Dependable and adaptable to changing patient and staffing needs Primary care experience is welcomed but not required; new graduates are encouraged to apply

Compensation & Benefits: Covenant Care offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including: Base salary of $85,000–$105,000, based on relevant experience Opportunity for additional incentive compensation 15 days of paid time off, increasing to 20 days after two years Paid holidays Health insurance eligibility 401(k) eligibility Professional liability/malpractice insurance Up to $1,800 annually toward eligible professional expenses, including licensure, DEA registration, continuing education/CME, and professional dues Why Covenant Care?
