Collections Specialist

Primary Responsibilities: Manage and maintain Accounts Receivable aging for business units including performance of collection efforts, reconciliation of customer accounts, and generation of reports for all business entities. Maximize all cash collections and maintain cash flow forecast Prepare monthly statements for customers as needed Handle and resolve all customer disputes by researching dispute and producing all necessary paperwork to resolve said dispute Interface with client and internal clients, and send reminder letters to past-due accounts Maintain listing of all problem accounts and report to Account Managers to resolve AR problems Assist in monthly invoicing process to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepare monthly and ad-hoc invoicing as needed Maintain filing of all relevant records Perform financial analyses including customer discounts, customer relationship management, and cash flows Responsible for key metrics such as weekly cash receipt targets, month end closed deadlines, and customer service and problem resolution Other duties as assigned

Knowledge And Skill Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field preferred, relevant experience may be substituted 3-5 years of experience in billing and/or collections Strong analytical ability Strong verbal and written communication skills
