Medical Equipment Assembler Job at Mancan in Steubenville

Schedule: Monday Friday, 9:00am 5:00pm (out time can vary) It is a full-time position, with extra mandatory on call hours.

Pay Rate: $18.00.

Job Responsibilities: Schedules and completes deliveries and removals of medical equipment in patient homes and healthcare facilities. Keeps accurate records of delivery, pick-up, maintenance and repair activities. Demonstrates and explains general operation and proper use of medical equipment to patient/customer. Periodically works on-call rotation. Responsible for all general warehouse and fleet vehicle upkeep.

Required Qualifications: High school diploma or its equivalent. Valid license with 0 points and a minimum of 3 years driving experience. Must be insurable at standard automobile rates at all times. Ability to sit, kneel, bend, or stand for extended periods of time. Ability to safety lift, move or transport, 50-75 lbs. with and without physical aids. Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle for short and long-distance travel. Must wear provided personal protective equipment including but not limited to safety shoes, gloves, and protective clothing.

Preferred Qualifications: Technical or Trade School training or certification. Customer support experience. Work experience in the medical device industry or healthcare industry.
