Associate Attorney | Litigation |Bilingual - Spanish

Responsibilities: The Associate Attorney will work closely with our attorneys, paralegals, and support staff while developing the skills necessary to manage cases from the filing of a lawsuit through resolution or trial. Responsibilities include: Manage personal injury cases from filing through settlement or trial Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents Conduct and defend depositions Prepare for and attend mediations, hearings, and court appearances Draft and argue motions Assist in developing case strategy and evaluating liability and damages Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance carriers Prepare cases for trial and participate in trials Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case developments Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to move cases efficiently toward resolution

Qualifications: Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas Spanish proficiency required Newly licensed attorneys are encouraged to apply Personal injury experience preferred, but not required Litigation, law clerk, internship, moot court, or other relevant legal experience is a plus Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities Willingness to learn, take initiative, and develop litigation and trial skills
