Senior Project Manager - SLG Cloud for Good is seeking experienced technology professionals to lead Salesforce.com implementation projects with State and Local Government organizations. Successful candidates will be highly experienced in deploying Salesforce solutions and ideally have SLG industry experience. To be successful on client projects, Senior Project Managers will have strong Salesforce knowledge across a variety of Clouds and/or functionalities, as well as one or more demonstrated areas of expertise. They will also have strong consulting skills, such as project and time management and collaboration. Because most of the work of the Senior Project Manager is client-facing, communication skills and a genuine interest in helping people are very important. The ability to collaborate with peers and clients while building consensus is also critical for success.
Location: Virtual: Home-based office in the US Work Authorization: Citizens or Permanent Residents of USA. Cannot provide Visa sponsorship. Qualifications and Education Requirements Experience: Must have a minimum of two (2) years experience in this field. Possesses a thorough understanding of the process requirements and provide both technical and management oversight of software implementation services for the project.
Education: Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Possession of a valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). The PMP certification will be verified during the RFO selection. The PMP certification is required and may not be substituted with additional experience. Salesforce certified Experience consulting on Salesforce implementations (minimum 3 years of experience preferred; agile methodology experience preferred) Strong consulting skills, including project and time management, communication, and teamwork/collaboration Understanding of common business processes for State and Local Government Organizations Demonstrated success in leading enterprise projects larger than $1 million Experience running fixed-fee (fixed-price) projects, including scope management, budget tracking, and change control Scrum certification, or relevant experience, is preferred Proven track record of continuously improving organizations Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS) experience is preferred Key Skills Strong project management skills Strong time management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Intellectual curiosity Passion for continuous learning Presentation skills Main Responsibilities Lead and project manage Salesforce implementation projects Partner with clients to develop long-term solutions, assess client business requirements, and create requirements and design documentation Maintain up-to-date, current knowledge of Salesforce Public Sector Solutions Lead implementation solutions in multiple Clouds and conduct proactive QA on the team’s solutions Serve as first escalation point for clients; provide internal and external status updates; manage budget and scope; facilitate internal and external meetings; report on project status to internal leadership; monitor and mitigate project risks Optimize non-billable time to contribute to CFG Sales, Marketing, or Services delivery model Provide informal mentorship, and facilitate knowledge-sharing and growth opportunities to less experienced consultants Serve as an expert in CFG methodology and business process Provide feedback to CFG leadership on how the company can improve Show a commitment to customer satisfaction Deliver project assignments on time and within budget Consistently contribute to the betterment of Cloud for Good Working Successfully at CFG Cloud for Good is a client-service organization, and as a member of our fully remote team, there are a few non-negotiables that enable collaboration, professionalism, and exceptional client outcomes. Travel Requirements: All roles at Cloud for Good include a travel component. Business travel—both domestic and international—may be required based on project and client needs. The amount of travel will vary by role but is generally expected to be up to 20% annually. Travel is considered an essential part of this position and supports effective client engagement, collaboration, and company representation.
Work Environment: Cloud for Good is a fully remote company. Team members are expected to maintain a professional, distraction-free workspace that is camera-ready for video meetings. Collaboration takes place across Zoom, Office 365, Salesforce, and Slack during standard business hours (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. in your local time zone). Client Time Zone Alignment As a team member, you may be required to adjust your work hours to align with your key client’s time zone to support effective communication, collaboration, and project delivery. Flexibility and coordination with your Project Lead (Services) will help ensure success in this client-facing role.
