Decatur Utilities is seeking a maintenance technician to repair and maintain pumps, engines, valves, piping and control systems at the water treatment plant. You will read engineering drawings, keep logs, and support plant operations with a safety-focused team. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 4–6 years of related experience, and a Grade I certification within 18 months; a Class B CDL and CPR/First Aid are also required or pursued.
