We are looking for an experienced, compassionate, and driven Caregiver to provide personal care and companionship services for our clients in the Columbia County, Oregon area.
Compensation & Benefits:
The Caregiver role pays between $20 - $22 per hour and paid biweekly. As part of the Almost Family Team, the Caregiver will enjoy a variety of benefits, including paid time off, healthcare benefits, development opportunities, and paid training.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living for clients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, meal preparation, and more
- Monitor clients' health and document their needs
- Establish and maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients
- Adhere to health and safety policies and regulations
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and housekeeping
- Escort clients to medical appointments and other activities
- Assist with transportation to and from doctors appointments and other errands
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of experience caring for seniors or disabled individuals
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license and auto insuranceCPR and First Aid certification
